9/11/2023 0 Comments Spectre m4 james bond![]() His dialogue was perfect though, the rat monologue was very well done. I think he was very well acted, just his personality was oddly written. His goofyness/crazyness didn't sit with me too well, he's not supposed to be the Joker, and Bond villains are serious people like Le Chiffe. He was angry at M because he got captured and tortured? Did he expect cyanide to be a gentle death? Bond got his balls popped and didn't think twice about it. Silva is a decent Bond villain, but his thought process doesn't make too much sense. I liked Skyfall, but I think bits of it are a little overrated. The shootout at Blofeld's facility was too quick, but the car chase, explosions, brawls and Mexico City were very well done. The missiles not being loaded in the DB10 was dumb, add two cars in the chase and have Bond blow up the car without Hinx in it, and have Hinx continue the chase until the river. White's arc was very well done, I thought Madeleine was a much deeper and more important Bond girl, and the action was entertaining. Besides that, I didn't have much else wrong with the plot. I think the slow feeling of the film is due to the stakes being Spectre having access to global intelligence, they should've made it abundantly clear that this intelligence would allow more bombings and spectre having control of governments across the globe, the situation only feels tense when Madeleine has been captured. If they established that, and then he finds out his "cuckoo" is a double 0, I think that's a perfect reason for him to torment Bond. Him and Bond being Brothers isn't awful imo, I just think they needed prominent motive for Blofeld to make a international crime organization. I liked Spectre, Blofeld's mannerisms and actions were perfect. This may be because I don't think Skyfall was a masterpiece or as good as Casino Royale, I just think it's a pretty good movie. Me personally, I liked Spectre just a bit less than Skyfall.
